![]() The one thing we need in teachers, coaches, Gurus, is empathy. I dont know if any other parent has been let down like this, but I wanted to share what I went through, to make everyone else aware. We live in a changed world where our children are suddenly being deprived of so much. I did not think that an institute so reputed would act so petty. If my decision meant being penalised later, shouldnt she have been vocal about that and her policies? Why this lack of transparency? And why dont they have all this in writing? The amount I lost isnt big, but my disappointment here is. I chose the offline option for her, because I knew she would be disengaged in an online medium and I did not want her to go through that. ![]() We cant do anything about the fees now.As a parent, I understand my child better than anyone else, and know what environment she learns in best. ![]() When I was so open with her, shouldnt she have been explained all their policies upfront? Her explanation was, we gave you the option of online classes, but you didnt take it. I politely reminded her that I had already paid, and been transparent about the fact that my daughter would not be attending the online classes. But the owner simply told me today that they had a no refund and no adjustments policy.I am appalled at this kind of behaviour. In what would be a rather unexpected, unsavoury experience, the owner told me to pay for the offline classes. In good faith, I did not ask for a refund then, because I wanted my daughter to resume class after the lockdown with the same teacher. The institute opened its offline classes today (02nd August 2021), and I reached out to the owner today, to say that my daughter would join the offline classes, as discussed. The owner told me that my daughter could attend online classes, but I told her that my daughter learns better in an offline setup, and so I will wait till the lockdown opens up again. However, little did I know that my experience would soon turn bitter.I paid owner the fees for the month of April on 02nd, but the very next day, a lockdown was declared. In fact, I also recommended the classes to my friends and relatives. I signed my 4 and a half year old daughter up for dance and drawing classes at DAZZLE DANCE FITNESS STUDIO a few months ago, and was very happy with the work the institute does.
